I keep getting things wrong. I needed to go and buy something for dinner. as OH was busy in the garden, I thought that I would take a gentle stroll into the square. I thought that it was only 3.30pm, but when I got there all the little butchers shops were closed as it was actually 4.30pm.
still it worked out well because I went into the little Co op supermarket and they had some ducks reduced to half price, They had just reduced them even more to clear them,so I snapped one up. It was very nice and there was just asmall amount of meat left, so I am sitting picking at it now. Odd I know Tec, but I fancy eating it

Good evening/morning all

Diane, I read your pm before reading your post. I always do things *rse about face! Please do come back when you can as your posts will be missed.

Linda you would have been quackers not to have grabbed the ducks at the 'cheep' price!

CC I can't even control myself at times let alone have others tryin to control me. Mind you a whip always worrrkkkkss!

Sue, glad you're feeling better

Berona how did the clear out go?

Hello to Pat and Tec

Hi, Berona. It's becoming cloudy here too and I've just ventured out and it's quite cool.

Sounds nice Linda although I'm not overly keen on duck. Your head cold is obviously making you "cloudy".

Never mind Linda, you will feel not so odd soon.
Strangely, I was also in the Co-op yesterday, and they had half ducks reduced - rather large for half a duck - anyway I was tempted as OH is particularly keen on roast duck a'la orange - but I wandered around the shop and forgot about it 'till halfway home.

Didn't mention this to OH in case I got slapped.

Hello Allan you posted as I did. Regarding an earlier post that you put up - you have never offended me with your jokes and comments. I love your humour as we all do - it's always good to start and end the day with a good laugh:-))

Good Morning Allan,

I didn't know about your haunting habits - obiously a man of many talents, do you drag a ball and chain?

Linda - you have nobody else to blame but yourself. YOU said your head was odd - we didn't....(LOL).....and as for mid-judging time and forgetting things - I've been doing that for years. Mine is caused by Old Age - what's your excuse?

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Feb 2010 21:29

I think the Co op had the packing wrong Tec because it said that this was a half duck, but when I opened it up, it was actually a whole one. I prefer it without the orange though.

Good evening Allan, or should I call you Jacob? If you are Jacob Marley, does that mean Tec has to be Scrooge?

Linda's excuse, Berona? She's nuts:-))

Sorrry Berona, I forgot to answer you. Mexico was good, the cold I had before I went disappeared in the lovely heat. Now I think I have swine flu. ( I don't really, but Allan put that into my head)

Maybe I am nuts Sue, it is as good a reason as anything.

That reminds me, I need to leave some feedback for someone on Ebay. Great site that I use it all of the time

I love Ebay although I haven't used it for a little while. I wish it had been around when my lot were little. Because children go through fads I've found it a cheap way to get toys that are the latest craze. We have saved money on numerous things over the years.

A friend of mine buys all of her children's clothes on Ebay. All top brands too!

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Feb 2010 21:44

I have sold a fair bit of stuff on it as well Sue, it is amazing what sells. it is my first port of call when i need to look for something.

Allan what a pity we don't know how to contact your OH, I would love to be a spectator when she reads that

Berona

Berona Report 17 Feb 2010 21:45

No Allan. Nowhere near finished the bathroom (and that's the first room in my plan for going through the house!!). Now that I have sorted all the items into groups, I can use half of my table - just waiting for visitors, so that I can off-load most of it. If they don't come by garbage night - out it goes!!

Allan

Allan Report 17 Feb 2010 21:46

Linda, I will give you her email address, but give me a chance to sell the tickets to the event on Ebay first
