Berona,

I used to watch "Brides of Christ". It was a good series

Tec,

By the time Sue gets back there will be too many pages of posts for her to read.

The girls will have to give her a precis of what has been happening and we can then deny everything!

Allan,
Deny what? I've no idea what you mean,

We might have escaped to anther place, but I notice that one by one, the sisterhood followed us.....just like sheep.

Good night Pat - sleep well. Talk to you again later.

So who's left?

I've been switching back and forth to my emails the whole time I've been on here this morning. Daughter is having root-canal work done in little more than half an hour and she has been sending me emails, telling me how scared she is. I keep offering to go with her, take her, pick her up - or whatever, but no, she has to be a martyr and go it alone! If she doesn't stop sending emails, she will be late for her appointment - but I suppose it has helped to use up the time - I'm just glad it's a morning appointment!

Yes Tec,

They seem a bit disorganised and when they do attack it is a bit like being savaged by a mad duck...a bit of a suprise at first, then the laughter starts!

Berona,
Your daughter sounds just like mine, sort of thing she does, just wanted mum to make reassuring noises probably

Oh dear Tec, is that what she wanted? Then I didn't give her the right answer, did I?....I told her that her fear of dentists is hereditary!

Anyone could pop up Berona, but like all good Boy Scouts, we're well prepared. So bring it on - we're ready for anything.

Well Tec, as the bulk of the opposition appears to have retired I think that I can safely leave the Thread for the time being.

I have the joy of my annual Opthalmogist's visit at lunch time which means that my eyes will be hurting in the bright sunlight so OH will have to drive me there and back

Good night Tec and Good Day Berona

I have never been attacked by a mad duck, but I think I might have to hold a meeting with the sisterhood about this - being compared with mad ducks!

You're getting cheeky because you don't see many of us around - but just wait - the others will arrive when you least expect it and you'll need more than a tunnel to hide in!

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 9 Nov 2009 23:06

Bye for now Allan,
Hope you get on ok with the opthalmogist,
I will see you here or there later...........................Bye

Well, I'm off too. Must keep busy while daughter gets through the dental work. This is nothing to the mess I was in the day her first baby was born!

We never stop being parents, do we? She's 39! Yes, I know that's the same age as I am - I was very young when I married!

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 9 Nov 2009 23:14

Your daughter will be fine Berona........she'll come on laughing in a minute you'll see.

If you read this before you go - when is the longest day in Australia?

the shortest day here is 21st December - just six weeks,

Anyway, enjoy your day,

Tec

Berona

Berona Report 9 Nov 2009 23:20

Our shortest day is 21st June and the longest day is either 21st or 22nd December - there seems to be a difference of opinion on that one.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 9 Nov 2009 23:24

Thanks Berona,
So your longest day is almost an equational opposite to our shortest,

Equational is another new word by the way!

Bye for now
