SpanishEyes Report 23 Jan 2011 22:23

Hello everyone. i used to be on here but was in awe of hoow well people wrote so stopped trying to add anything. However I am going home for good, have hung up my nurse uniform, put my badges in a safe place, put my fob watch back in its box, polished my last nurse shoes and have retired so I guess there is some scope for writing within that episode of my life ending.

I will not have access to the Intenet for about 8 days as we are taking the long way home, visiting family and friends on the way so do not give up on me

Come on Mau unblock whatever is blocked and get writing. I am fed up with talking to myself!

Thanks to those who proof read for me and found the 3 deliberate (not) mistakes.

Jeniwren, Jean, With my current piece we are on chapter 30. It would take too long to copy and send out each of those chapters so when I send the next chapter out to everyone I will send you something else I have done in the past year. Would that be OK?

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 4 Feb 2011 16:22

Ladies, I have found a piece I wrote several years ago when the family bungalow was up for sale. I have tidied it up a bit and I will send it out.

Jean, if you get a lot all at once, don't panic, read in your own time, normally it is only about one piece a week each, sometimes two.

Rambling Report 6 Feb 2011 22:41

Thankyou Ann , yes I have received and will read asap .I'm behind with everything today somehow ( lol probably because I keep stopping what I'm supposed to be doing to watch tv ).

Thanks also ladies for comments on my poem :) I was thinking it is rather strange that I seem to be writing poetry more these days, as it has always been prose I found easier? it seems to have switched lol though I have always loved reading poetry.

You seem to have found the rythym Rose and write the sort of poetry I enjoy. I also enjoy Maggie's but can never hope to replicate it. Lol!!!!
