Can somebody tell me please what chapter was the last one I sent out of New Beginnings? Was it 31 or 32?

Hi Ann....31 was the last chapter I received

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 12 Feb 2011 21:57

Thanks Mau. Does everyone agree?

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 12 Feb 2011 22:03

You know it wasn't, it was chapter 32, although the heading said 31, I sent you chapter 32 and you must have missed 31. Probably there is no point me sending 31? Or shall I?

{ He had been worried when she had returned from Lanzarote and told
him about meeting Glenn. }

Was this extract from the chapter we missed Ann? I thought at the time I couldn't remember having read it....

Yes Mau. I think I will send out 31 and 32 (again) this week so it slots back into place.

Anyone want some first lines as a creative 'jog'?

"Don't look back"

"Life is funny that way"

"February was very cold, March was much warmer but very windy"

"****** was the colour"

"Alfie loved to fish in the...."

"For once the bus was early but"

"The lights were red......."

Sorry, Ann, I didn't reply as I don't follow suggestions very well as you know. But thanks for putting it up:-) BC XX

I bet you were a real problem at school BC. I thought 'Life is funny that way' might appeal to you though. Never mind, as long as you write something, you don't need any hints.

Funny you should say that, Ann, but you are right. I WAS a nightmare at school and I suspect I still am! Lol! BCXX

Lol BC but you have one attribute that not a lot of people have. You can make me laugh when I am down (and when I am not!!)

Thank you for the suggestion Ann :)) I may need to do one of those rather than the story as I'm short of time and a lot of ideas buzzing and making no sense lol.

Have my mum's friend coming on Saturday so I may be late doing anything this week...bear with me please ladies!

Rudyard Kipling said:
"Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind".

Apparently.

And here is another idea from Writing Magazine.

Write a story with the title 'Great Expectations'. (No, don't copy Dickens!)

Hello all, just a thought in case anyone needs an exercise ...someone in a tv programme just asked the question

"What was he like?"

and I thought it might make a good little practise piece, to describe someone you know to give a good idea of their appearance and/or character.

Hello ladies, I think we have a potential new member ( Wendy's BIL) so I will be sending round an email asking how you wish to proceed with sending out work to him, either via me or directly that is.

Anyone else looking in who might like to join? !
