I thought that I had sent a message either yesterday or the day before but I cannot see it on here.

I would like to come back in the next few days but feel a little apprehensive as I have been rather unwell. So look out for me!!

Thanks for the acknowledgment Rose,

I am excited and rather nervous at the same time re writing again, but I am sure that I want to try. I am not good at fiction so tend to take experiences of my life or others (who will have given permission) to rewrite so that the people involved cannot be recognised.

Just noticed that further up the page there is a statement about sending out
work, will I also be receiving this, if so another message to look forward to.

Bridget, you should have been receiving all my stuff the last month or so. If you haven't then it is possible I have a wrong e mail address? Can you PM me your e mail if you have not received anything please?

OOps I made a mistake! I thought you meant that the writings had to be approved before they were put on the thread....
Evidence perhaps that I am still not back to my normal self!!

Bridget, we send out wrtings via email,privately.....not straight onto the threads here.

Bridget, you have obviously got confused. I can understand that, I live in a permanent state of confusion Lol!!

What we do is. We send out our writing to all on our list. We then wait for those who have received it to e mail back (not on the thread) to say a)they have received it and b) to give encouragement or constructive criticism etc.

Nothing of our writing goes on the thread. Only the members of the writing group get to see any of the writing, it is not put on the open forum.

Is that OK? If you need a further explanation just say. glad you have received them anyway.

Afternoon all and welcome back Bridget and also Wend's BIL (if he joins! lol). I am having a creative lull right now. I find I write in spurts and then sit back! But I have an idea:-)...Hope all your juices are flowing if that doesn't sound too rude. lol BC XX

Hi everyone. I have just been browsing back the last few pages and it looks like we have at least 11 in our group at the moment!!! I don't think I sent my last piece about the cockerel to 11 people so, if you didn't receive it, I apologise! Please send me a pm and I will update my list again!

At last the comp is back on line. We never know when we are going to loose internet connection or when it comes back.

I have not been to well in the last 6 to 9 months as some of you know so I feel a little nervous but next week I shall start writing. I recall now how the system works so will write a short piece first if that is ok. Is there a minum number of words required.

Helen I forwarded your piece to Peter (and also to SRS who I am relaying work to at present), think a revision of the list is needed now. Will try and get some feedback from those who receive but don't write or critique.

Woke up and could not get back to sleep..urgh....
I have received quite a few writings and apologise to everyone for not felling. As you know I have been quite unwell, getting better now, so will try to go through them all and send my views. However if I do not reply to everyone please forgive me, I may have deleted them or even mislaid them or deleted them, ...

However I will start behaving from today!

I could do with some suggestions fro a new title, please:

Here's one : "The Last Thing I Read".

A while back I sent something out to everyone, only to get a reply from someone "Do I know you?" which was a bit hurtful.

To avoid this in future please let's sort out a new list.
