At last! That was ME who deleted! I was in the middle of writing a post, when what I typed refused to show in the Reply box. My keys suddenly didn't co-ordinate with the screen, so all I could do was delete. After that, couldn't get into the Reply box at all.
IT HAD LOGGED ME OUT!
Tried many things and had no success until I LOGGED IN! By then, every one had gone!

Nobody in the place but me but it is a case of YIPEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are now on broadband - my e-mails don't take ages to go etc etc .
Before the stupid thing would insist my e-mail had not gone and one of them was received by others nearly 300 times. I became the butt of a few jokes.

Just thought you should all share in this with me.

That's good to know Perse. People will be able to ring you while you are using the internet too! I switch mine on first thing in the morning and off again last thing at night. I would leave it on all night if I could be sure we wouldn't get an electrical storm.

Hope you are well. I was cut off just as everyone was coming and going earlier. Don't know if it was me, or if GR were doing some maintenance, but it's all OK now. I never log in or out and had to look up my password!

Earlier on today - not long after I said bye - I had trouble with my tree - the names came up in dark blue on the green background and were undreadable. Then I tried logging back in through Google instead of my favourites and tried the NZ site - it did not recognise my e-mail address or password. So tried the Australian one and came in without password or e-mail they knew me straight away. So thank you for that Australia.

But now I am like the proverbial pig in muck (using the politer word).
Before I would have to wait ages to get to the actual page of our thread and sometimes have had a comfort or refuel stop whilst I am waiting.

I am sure you can see me smiling from there :< )

I of course was on Broadband with a multi multi setup when I was working and I really missed it being at home.

My youngest had Broadband (well she is in Marketing research for the telephone company so she would have) and then when my other one got it I felt really left out in the cold.

Speaking of cold - there is an e-mail doing the rounds with a picture of the sun - stating that this big yellow round thing has gone missing, we do not seem to be any closer to summer yet, weather is worse than Tassie.

I don't think I told you Allan (spelt his name correctly this time) I used to be the company accountant for a recycle company here in South Auckland... so I know all about bins.

the wind is still blowing here but at least the weather is cool, unlike Adelaide with a forecst top of about 40 today.

I don't know if it reached that temp but I wouldn't be able to stand that heat!
