Good Morning to Berona Persephone and Sue

Good Evening to Linda and Tec

Linda I like that saying! I believe in calling a spade an earth-inverting horticultural implement

persey, I note that there was no comment on our civilized chat from yesterday......they must still be in shock:0))

You were both obviously trying to make an impression with your intelligent chitchat and I have certainly made a note of it. You may have a gold star each on your report cards:-))

Good Morning Allan,

I was overwhelmed with the perspicuity of the highly interllectual conversation that took place between Perse and yourself, and dared not comment.............

Allan Report 26 Nov 2009 21:48

Well, Tec I do sometimes have a higher cerebral experience....not often mind, and I do have to sit quietly in a darkened room for a few hours afterwards!

Allan

SueMaid Report 26 Nov 2009 21:49

That's what I was going to say, Tec........I think.

Allan don't you remember? You only got a gold star if you got 10 out of 10.

I also noticed how civilised you were Allan.

Sue new cushions are an imperative

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 26 Nov 2009 21:53

I thought those higher cerebral experiences were caused by a substance known as LSD in the sixties - you can't still be on that surely?

Tec

Tec, Allan would never dabble!

Allan

Allan Report 26 Nov 2009 21:58

Sue, too far back for me to remember ...........lol

However, I cannot recall any gold stars: the odd silver one and plent of greens and reds...or were those reds corrections to my mistakes????

regarding Charities, we have, over the years given a large amount of furniture and other items to various groups, and have found that recently they have become more selective, if not downright fussy in what they take.

We recently offered some things to a national charity group with a store/shop in Bunbury. The items were fairly bulky and we asked them to pick them up....only to be told that they no longer had a pick up service and that if we wanted to donate the items we should take them to the store!!

The tip was closer

Maybe not, but he does eat magic mushrooms, collects them early in the morning - they also give you those higher brainy things,

Tec, the only mind blowing experience that I had in the 60's was when my OH breathed gently down my ear!!

If

If you can collect your mushrooms,
when all about you are loosing theirs,
And manage to avoid ending in courtrooms
You'll not only be a man my son, but can give catatonic stares!

Allan Kipling....doesn't that just take the Cake!!

Persephone

Persephone Report 26 Nov 2009 22:05

Berona Report 26 Nov 2009 22:05

Oh dear....With all this talk of buying cushions for the new lounge suite, I fear that we will never get Tec to paint his dining room now!
