Allan just been reading Panto thread, you seem to be haveing a fun time on there.

Linda, most of shooting's seem to be about drug's, as far as I'm concerned they can do what they like to each other but it is the innocent bystander's who are in the line of fire that bother's me. Were my daughter live's about 3yrs ago two family's were fauding with each other and in one of their return responces to their differences a young boy who was at the shop's when one of the family's was targeted by the other family was shot in the leg, he was only about 8-9yrs old. A car pulled up by the shop's and shouted everyone to get down, unfortunately the boy wasn't quick enough and he coped one of the bullet's fired.

Hi all including Joy.

We are into football here at the moment Tec because our All Whites beat Bahrain and we are off to the World Cup. Believe we were last there in about 1982 so it is quite an accomplishment and it was Kevin Fallon's son who scored the only goal. Kevin is a very controversial figure here, often in the news and often in trouble for voicing his opinions.
Used to watch football (soccer) in the sixties a lot was a big Geoff Hurst fan - he was amazing.

Don't emigrate to NZ Allan - there is too much of this P addiction here and a lot of criminal - not nice happenings - going on. But you can come for a visit and just go to the nice places. We have a place called Norsewood and they have lots of trolls dotted around the township so you would feel right at home there.

You tell your OH that he is to get on with helping you with the furnishings Toute Suite.

Berona - drizzling a bit again, it is darned annoying. Auckland has a very humid climate all year round.

Personally

Hello Diane, yep I'm on the panto thread but still not sure whether I am a troll, a rock cod, Rolf Harris or a member of the audience wearing a mac.

Persey, your trolls sound very much like gnomesville in the Ferguson Valley in Dardanup: hundreds of gnomes set up, all with names

Good morning Perse,
Well done NZ for getting to World Cup........I remember Geoff Hurst, and yes he was brilliant.
I found African football by accident on Sky recently, it was really fast and very entertaining. There are lots of African footballers in our Premier League now.
Can you tell me what time it is in NZ ? I have only just got to grips with Aussie time, now I'm confused about your time.

Linda,

I've just made another successful loaf - well into it now.

Says in my book that you can make jam in the bread maker - have you ever done this?

LindainHerriotCountry Report 28 Nov 2009 23:08

I haven'tTtec, I don't fancy it gunging the thing up.

I make jam in the microwave, it is much faster than in a pan and you don't risdk burning it. It only makes smaller quantities , but that is all you would get in the bread machine as well

Thanks Linda,

So NZ is 13 hrs ahead of us then - I think that's right, but when you get as geriatric as me the brain logs off at about 8 pm.
