Diane I'm glad you're having a full check-up. Just in time for your week off so you will hopefully get your medication adjusted and after a week of rest will feel so much better.

Tec - I do truly feel the utmost sympathy for you. Truly I do:-))

Hello Diane, I'm not sure who I'm playing, I seem to have multiple personalities but we'll all get in a huddle and vote on who we want to be.

The majority wins! :0))

Allan.......
When the "fair" sex are unwell, we run around in ever decreasing circles, pandering to their every whim.

Plying them with little luxuries - peeling grapes - warming their slippers,
etc etc etc...........

What do we get when we're struck down in our prime............

laughed at!........they're a hard lot

Oh give over, Tec. We ladies soldier on regardless of how we feel. To be honest if I'm not well I prefer to be left alone. Is that sentiment returned? No it isn't. Two men in the house and woe betide if they're both ill at the same time.

Oh and while this battle of the sexes is on can you fellows answer a question for me? How is it you never outgrow the habit of putting all sorts of strange things in your pockets. I've just done some washing and the collection of "bits and pieces" I gathered from OH's pockets has to be seen to be believed:-))

PS - must go out for a little while but I shall be back.

Do you have Welsh connections? that word "cwtches" is a very Welsh expression.

Tec I do not like being accussed of something I haven't done, in case your wondering what I mean, at what point did I laugh at you ailment
See you soon Sue, don't be too long or I will have to put up with these two blameing people for doing and saying thing's they haven't.

Hi Tec

No, I haven't got a Welsh connection, besides yourself. I read that word somewhere and wrote it down.
How is the Duchess?

I think you're probably right Allan, so for the sake of peace, I'll give in.

Sue, Bits in men's pockets?
Well, unlike you girls, we don't have hand bags, or purses to carry our bits and pieces in.
So - coins, screws, washers, bits of string, old shopping lists, receipts, toffee papers, mystery telephone numbers, etc etc, all end up in our pockets.........and it's not a ploy to wreck the washine machine - honest.

Which leads me on nicely - to the contents of ladies hand bags?

Tec, If we could only find the adhesive that binds the sisterhood together, we could market it as super-glue and make a fortune.

I am fascinated when OH does a handbag cleansing operation. I think that she has the Tardis model....larger on the inside that the outside.

When OH recentl bought one in a garage sale, she found a total of 30 cents still tucked away inside

Diane, No you didn't laugh at my feeble state, I must be fair, and would not offend your sensibilities for anything - I know you're a very caring sweet lady - grovel - grovel - grovel.

Carole, The Duchess is much better thanks, still not right, but undergoing a lot of tests, and close monitoring at the moment.
The word cwtch, meaning cuddle, is widely used in Wales, more so in the South. Nice cosy word I always think, my mother, and grandmother always used it.
