$75.00 per hour plus GST (Ozzie equivalent of VAT) Some Councils think that is too much yet are willing to pay Contract Town Planners $120.00 per hour.

Other Councils have no problem with the rate.

Yes, the festive season seems to be hitting us. Why is it that the vehicles on the road seem to go faster at this time of the year? People must have so much more to do, places to go, deliveries to be made,etc.etc...

Now I've lost count of who has joined us. Allan, you weren't retired for very long, were you? I was going to suggest some terms for you, but Tec has covered it well in his suggestion.

I've never been on Facebook - I don't really know what it's all about - that's probably because I'm a dinosaur. Not boasting or anything, but all my Christmas cards have been posted.......yippee

The auction is held in the cattle market - very rustic- they are not geared up to telephone or internet bids. Sotherby's it is not.

You're doing ok! You're on this site! I've got several friends who are techno-phobes but they are getting better!

I have only in recent months, joined Facebook and when I attempted to join Friends Reunited, found that they had all of my details - bought from a site they had taken over years ago. I had joined it and not used it. I then changed the username to agree with the one Genes has, so joined Facebook under that name. My daughter and daughters in law are on Facebook with their correct names - and I'm different! I really don't see any advantage in it - we email and phone each other when we want to make contact - so no need for another form of contact. We also visit each other.

When I read about people announcing something on Facebook, I'm lost. I don't know how to see that - nor do I understand this 'Farm' talk which is often discussed on these threads. It just leaves me feeling left out of the discussion - so I can't post an opinion.

Linda, I am better really, in that my nose has stopped being a tap, just aching a bit, and a sore throat - but I may live. Thanks for asking.

I like Facebook because my daughter and her friends are always putting up lots of photos,so it is nice to be able to see them.

Some people put far too much stuff on facebook. I just like playing the games.Although last night I did chat to a couple of my friends but they're msotly youngsters who I work with.

There is something called "Twitter"
No idea what that is either, but as I twitter enough on here, that will do.
