I have to admit I've been pretty slack on the treadmill lately. I hate the thing! However, I'd better get back onto it in readiness for the extra treats I will be tempted with over the Christmas period.

Thankfully, I will only be indulging on the actual Christmas day. After that, most of the family take off on holidays and I will be on my own. I always look forward to that for doing some kind of project. This year, I have already started on thinning out and re-arranging my filing system. I only did it three years ago, but it's amazing how much paper can collect in that time! With no-one visiting me for a while, I can spread out, using the dining room table to segregate - then I will be busy shredding. So much easier to do when you're on your own.

Yesterday was as hot as Saturday, but not as hot as had been forecast!

Temps are forecast to drop to 23 by Wednesday (very pleasant) and then back to the mid 30's by next weekend.

Your temps seem reasonable at the moment. It was 5c here today, and -1 tonight with a frost, but it was sunny all day.

I have put the tree up, complete with lights and baubles,
so we're all lit up for Christmas,
