Berona, it was good to see your post, but really, the 11th!!

Is there no one you can see sooner?

Whilst I am no doctor, I think that normal leg cramps shouldn't be continuously happening.

On a more humoruous note, I suffered a calf cramp early one morning recently, about 2.00am, and jumped out of bed to try to relief it.

My leg wouldn't support me and I fell to the bedroom floor.

OH told me to stop making so much noise as she was trying to sleep!!

You are for heifer making jokes Allan you OH probably wouldn't have realised you were in pain not a pain.

I thought my OH had cramp in his toe and I was all for straightening it for him but he had actually broken it. He sneezed - blacked out fell over and broke his big toe. The hospital kept calling him the chap with the very unusual injury.

They had an Aussie comedian on the Royal Variety Show 2009 - Carole his name was Adam Hills thought he was the best one on the show.
Some of Billy Connelly's stories are really funny - he has a very good sense of the ridiculous.

Please take care Berona - we need you to be back dancing on the threads.

Perse, perhaps I should just have said lower leg!

I'd forgotten how sharp you are :0))

Speaking of sharp.........

Did you hear about the guy who kept eating glass?

He ended up with a pane in his stomach

Hi again:-)

Persey, Yes I have heard of Adam Hills and agree he is funny:-))
Have you heard of Tim Minchin? not only is he really funny, he is musically brilliant and writes his own stuff.

Allan, I'm still giggling about you and your cramps in the middle of the night, I would have said the same to my hubby:-))))

Hi Carole, I'm afraid the female of the species is not very sympathetic!

I wont tell you what my OH said after I had my pulmonary embolism when I stopped breathing, nor my response when I started to breathe again!

Some things are best not aired :0))

No Carole don't know Tim that I know of - lead a very sheltered existence over here - that's why we all travel - to get away from the place.

Lot of people here have been overseas and not seen their own country but I have seen it all except Stewart Island - which I plan to do one day. My friend from the US has come over specially to do Stewart Island not once but twice. Oh and I haven't been out to the Chathams... they are the last ones to get the weather report.

Persey. I was too sympathetic with OH's cramp - I planned on being a big help.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 2 Jan 2010 13:43

I still have a horrible cold, I sound like a forty a day smoker (| have never smoked, I hasten to add). I think my sinuses are all bunged up, I feel sickly And dizzy when I move my head. Still in the great scheme of things, it is only a cold and will go awy eventually. Just about everyone I know has it. OH is just about the same, but he keeps taking himself off to bed for a nap

It is so cold here, which doesn't help. Send some of your heat please.

Carolee Report 2 Jan 2010 13:43
