Alison Report 6 Jan 2010 00:00

I'm here. Losing weight still. Haven't vomited for 4 days - been close though! I'm not on the computer much these days. Spend a lot of time lying down and have a couple of sleeps during the day.

It's extremely humid here, so the air con is on everyday. I hate humidity.

I hope everyone is well. I gather Tec has a cold though and is Berona unwell?

I probably won't pop on for a while again. Can't get over there are more than 700 pages here! I've missed most of the last 100. Too much to read for me these days.

Stay beautiful!

Diane

Well hi there stranger lol.
Good to see your post, we were wondering if thy had taken you to hospital to feed you up hun, just keep resting when you need to. Is there anyone who can let us know how you are if you are unable to post yourself, it would stop us worrying when we haven't heard from you because you are resting. How are you manageing any pain or is that under control.
I am fine except my FM is pretty bad at the moment, has been for 4month's, yes Tec has a bad cold and looking for sympathy ( AHH the poor man ) and Berona has been having a lot of problem's with cramp's at night and has been quite bad for some time which has given us all concern. She has posted today to say she is a lot better than she was and has promised to see her GP as soon as he is back from his holiday's, we did try and persuade her to see an emergency DR but she didn't seem to pick up on it, as most women she didn't want to make a fuss I think. Well my friend I will now go and get to bed as I need to get all my energy stored up to face the frozen path's and road's in the morning when I walk to work in the dark and freezing cold, I'm dreading it as it is like a sheet of ice out there now. Take care and rest as much as you need, bye for now hun speak again when you are up to posting again. x x x

To all of you who were on earlier, I had trouble with internet again so was unable to join you all , hopefully I will speak to you all tomorrow.

Goodnight to all Brit's and hopefully you are not frozen in the morning when you wake up lol.

Goodday to undernether's enjoy your day and that lovely heat lol

I'm so glad to hear from Alison and to know she is not being sick, but is resting up as much as possible. Stay with it little bush kid!
Yes, as Diane said, is there anyone who can post for you if you are not up to it - just to let us know how things are going? Or can they receive or send pm's?
I'm OK now. My legs have been left very 'tired' and won't carry me far, but slowly improving now that I have my cramp tablets! I swear I will never be without them again! I'm going to get it checked out by my dr next week, though, just to make sure it was only cramps.
Take care everyone.

It is lovely to hear from you Alison, Keep cool.

no choice about that here, the snow is coming down thick and fast. OH is going stir crazy because he is desperate to go out and buy some wood for a project. He is only happy when he is pottering about making something, or on the allotment digging, which obviuosly he can't do now.

Lovely to hear from you Alison - you must have heard all our thoughts winging your way. Take care, girl:-)

Linda - I've been looking at the temperature up your way and it's incredibly cold. We were talking to my brother in law who lives in Guisborough and he said he's forgotten what warmth is. He is in his early 70's and has a bad chest so he's housebound at the moment.

Hi Linda

Not really, house work (sorry) and cooking.
I didn't get to bed till really late. I had a phone call from the UK last night while I was talking to you. My cousin wanted me to do a search on Ancestry, and I hit the jack pot, found everything he wanted:-)))

What are your plans for today?

SueMaid Report 6 Jan 2010 11:14

I'm reading The Girl Who Played With Fire - it's the second in a series by Stieg Larssen. The first one was The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the last one is The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. Larssen died after he wrote the last one so that's it. Such a shame because they're wonderful books.

Just to stay warm Carole.
OH has just gone out to walk into the market square to post a parcel and to go to the butchers. I am just trying to find things for him to do really.

It is good when you can help others with their tree. I was looking for someone for Tec last night. I found some info but what I really wanted, I can't find. It is bugging me,so I will have another go at that today

Carolee Report 6 Jan 2010 11:21

I'll have a look at those books, I have heard of that author. Maybe you have mentioned him previously?
I'm always looking for something new to read.
I am still reading The Story of Danny Dunn, I'm enjoying it :-))

It is really good when you can help someone else, gives you a warm fuzzy feeling:-))

This person lost his parents when he was a babe, its a very long story, sad too!!
So I felt pretty good with myself last night:-))

Good morning/evening all.

I've woken up to another dull morning after a rainy night. We're obviously still getting the tail-end of the weather that is causing floods in the western part of our state.

Good morning/evening to all

Good morning Sue. Our weather is a bit topsy turvy at the moment today's forecast is for clear skies and a top of 28c which is much cooler than it has been.

However, at the moment there is really thick cloud cover. It blew in (or rather, sauntered in as there was only a very light wind) whilst I was on my walk!

Still at least it will be cooler for our trip to Freo later on today

Berona

Berona Report 6 Jan 2010 21:13

Good morning Sue. Are we the only ones on deck?
No sign of having had any rain here - but it's dull. I don't mind that - keeps the heat down a little.
Hope you and yours are all well. I am getting a reasonable amount of sleep at last. I finally obtained some mild cramp tablets and haven't had a cramp for two days now. Leg muscles are still weak - so I still have to wait for them to strengthen up - but definitely improving!

Good morning Allan. You sneaked in while I was typing. Very early for you! No walk to-day?
