Good Evening Pat,

The snow must have passed over you to get to us, because it's coming from the South West

Last time I got new glasses I used the old frames because I liked them. I'm due new ones and I think I'll indulge in new frames this time.

I have a few relatives I would like to nip in the bud Tec but then they might say the same about me.

One lot of frames I had were called Joan Collins... shame I didn't get the facelift to go with them.

Well the lights are flickering, and the TV has gone off because the satelite dish is covered in snow - so if I disappear I've been disconnected

Well, I must away. My grocery order arrived early and I have quickly put the cold stuff in the fridge and freezer - but need to check the order and put the remainder away. I specified 'between 10am & 2pm" and it arrived at 9:45. I suppose they are working against the clock to get it all finished before the temperature gets too high - so I can't complain.
Keep warm and sleep well, Brits. Have a good (cool) day, those in the hot countries. Talk again later.

Hi all late again lol,
Same old reason, no internet connection so I am posting this while I'v got the chance.
Enviromental health came today to put the noise monitor in, guess what him upstair's has been quite for the last 2 night's. As much as I'm enjoying the peace and quite I'm hopeing he has his mate's over at the weekend as I only have the monitor for a week and need to have some evidence for the houseing so they can take thing's further.

Berona I'm glad your DR think's it is only cramp's and nothing else.

Tec I'm sorry to hear you have had more snow, it tried to snow here on Monday but thankfully it became nothing to worry about, I'm fed up struggling to get to work so was glad it wasn't a serious fall of snow.

Well as it is very late here I am getting off now ,

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ to all here and hopefully will catch up with you all soon
Alison if you look in hun I hope thing's are fine with you and you wil soon feel up to posting, we are all thinking of you, stay beautiful and take care xx
Goodnight and enjoy your day to all
Hi, Carole. I'm supposed to be doing some work not chatting on here but couldn't resist when I saw your post. I'm glad the weather has cooled down. It was very hot here yesterday and not much cooler overnight. Even when I got up this morning it was still very warm but this afternoon it became very overcast and a cool breeze blew through with some rain and now it's cooler but still humid. Crazy weather.
Good morning, I am glad that it is a bit cooler for you Sue.
The thaw continues here, although we still have snow on the garden and the pavements in all the side roads are still lethal. The main roads and town centre is now all clear.
I took advantage of being able to get the car out yesterday. I rang up and managed to get an appointment with my hairdresser. I still go to the person I have been going to for over thirty years, a real creature of habit I am. I can now see again without having to part the curtain which was my fringe.
As the hairdressers is in a large town, I was also hoping to partake in some retail therapy while the sales were on.I did buy three jumpers, but I couldn't be bothered really. As it is so cold, taking off the multi layers of clothing in order to try things on was too much of a hassle. A shame really because with very few shoppers around because of the snow, the shops are discounting like mad.
We were on cinema duty last night. When I got home, the phone was blinking away, showing I had four messages. Odd as I go for ages without any one phoning and then like buses, they all come along together. Anyway by the time I had replied to all of them, it was bed time. So that explains my non appearance last night, I hope that I am forgiven, I wasn't ignoring you all, honestly
