You've been busy, haven't you, Allan? Jumping around the threads again. You wait till I tell Sue about you!

By the way - "taught them how to.......what?"

Haven't seen any sign of Tec - but I suppose he is lurking in the wings, reading all the posts and waiting his opportunity!!!

Watch Allan Linda - it's only 7pm where he is - so, unless he has something good to watch on TV - he could get up to quite a lot of mischief - and I'm off to get comfy in my bed with my latest book.

Night all. Have a good day, Brits.

I was waiting for that. However, the sisterhood swings into action now!

Persephone Report 8 Nov 2009 11:13

I had my time this morning Linda 11am our time. I have several ancestors that died in WW1.
It is now the 12th here and today is when my grandmother died in 1918. Our Black November - the troops brought home the flu - and she died in the flu epidemic in which more people died than in the Great War. My mother was four at the time. My grandfather never remarried.

I didn't realise that it was so early for Allan. I am off out now, so he is all yours Pat, see he doesn't cause too much mayhem

Berona, you are too much of a lady to divulge the coarser Nature of Shepherds to

Night Berona - I will stand guard awhile longer whilst I watch this movie.

Ya ya Sisterhood.

It is easy to forget what devastation flu epidemics caused in the pre antibiotic and anti viral days.

It is sweet that your grandfather never remarried. Sadly the same was not true for young widows left with a family, they had to find any one to marry who would take on them and their children.

I really must go now, see you all later

Allan

'Bye Linda

Talk to you all again tomorrow...from my secret hideout!!

Well he is all yours Patricia, or should I rephrase that.

You know what I mean - you could have your hands full - he does not stay in one place for long.

Have not seen you up and about Tec hope everything is alright on the home front?

Good night Alison, mind how you go -

Tomorrow is now today here!!

Percey.

Think I just said good night to myself.

Oh and to you Alison - sleep well.

Missed you all this morning/last evening down under, sorry.

Didn't come aboard 'till mid afternoon UK time. Spent hours on my tree, then wading through pages of unlikely Hot Matches.

Linda, Hope your finger is now co-ordinated. Whenever I've had mulled wine, I have to say the effects have been alarming - I wonder why? so now I decline the offer. Oh, and incidently, of course I don't think you're a hussy. I find the very term hilarious.

Persephone, Well done to the All Blacks - yes they beat us AGAIN, but at least the end result was respectable, and not as humiliating as some previous encounters. It's only 57 years since we won LOL.
I like the sound of your Flying Ace Bear.

Alison, If you're looking in, I hope you had a good night, and are are feeling not too bad today. I so do admire your courage, and send positive thoughts to you always.

Hi everyone else, have to go as I'm cooking tonight, speak later,

Tec

just dragging the thread up so that Allan can find it, not that he has looked very hard

Allan Report 8 Nov 2009 21:24

Good morning/evening all,

is there anyone about at this time?

I usually have to catch up with a few pages of posts but not today as I was on late (for me) yesterday

Berona

Berona Report 8 Nov 2009 21:31

Yes, I'm here. You didn't think the sisterhood would be slack, did you?

I've had time to check the other threads, too. You must have had a good movie to watch last night! - or perhaps we achieved success in scaring you!

I worked out the remainder of that rhyme myself, thank you. I went through the alphabet until I found it. Would have been easier if I had gone backwards from "z", but I found it!.....You naughty boy!

Been walking this morning? How were the bins?

Allan

Allan Report 8 Nov 2009 21:35

Good morning Berona and good evening to Linda

Berona, I am not intimidated by the Sisterhood. You are really just a group of softies with a gruff exterior

Linda, I could find this Thread with my eyes shut...and considering the time in WA frequently do!
