Hi everyone,
i find the idea of the Sisterhood quite funny. I went to a convent school and therre were loads of sisters everywhere.

I spent eighteen years teaching in a school run by nuns, saintly they were not

Linda,
When I was at school I used to be frightened of them! They were so tall and I was so small!

very good Allan!

Berona Report 8 Nov 2009 21:48

ROFLMAO!!! Me, a nun???? That's something I have NEVER thought of being!

This sisterhood is slightly different - good - but strict and efficient!
Someone on guard at all times - we need to be when it's Allan we are guarding!

When I first went to work there, I was taken aback to see the headmistress nun walloping a sixteen year old boy around the head. Of course non nun type teachers would have been suspended for something like that.

Very strict in my case Allan

My first job after leaving school was at the Xaverian College in Manchester as a Lab Technician. The Brothers there were Holy Terrors

I once went out with a girl who was a Nun......nun of this , nun of that and nun of the other!

I was waiting for that one - either that or why they travel in pairs.

I should think it was nun of the other Allan, but a little bit of this wouldn't have been so bad surely!

Allan

Allan Report 8 Nov 2009 21:59

OK Berona, I'll bite....

Why in pairs??

Berona Report 8 Nov 2009 21:59

Alan - you didn't answer me. Did you meet any nice bins this morning?

Allan

Allan Report 8 Nov 2009 22:03

My apologies, Berona,

Not bin walking this morning.

I pulled up stiff from working in the garden yesterday....not to mention that it was nearly midnight before I went to bed

That was just as bad as Allan Pat, Goodnight sleep well.

Not touting for sympathy are you Allan?

My what a lovely singing voice you have Allan, not quite the correct words though

Berona

Berona Report 8 Nov 2009 22:11

Where is our Tec? Hope all is well with him and the duchess.
He was here earlier, I notice. Perhaps he has something good to watch on TV - or has fallen asleep watching it!

At this time of the year, all of the 'good' shows have finished for the season, and we get repeats, D-class shows and other rubbishy fill-ins until February. Much more interesting to come on here.

Allan

Allan Report 8 Nov 2009 22:15

Linda would I try for the sympathy vote?

And I'll have you know that in my day I was quite a good singer....that day was the last Wednesday in March, 1960!

Berona, like you I hope that all is ok in Wales
