Well I seem to manage somehow, you kind of get used to it, daft as that may sound - oh well, we will see.

Linda, how dare Allan call you fractious, I shall have a quiet word when you've gone to bed

Well I guess you Brits are in bed by now. It has just gone elevenses here -
Curmudgeon is looking forward to flying over Tec, he wants to do an early flight well before Christmas before Snoopy and the Red Baron take to the skys (or is it skies Linda?) Why as I get older words that would come naturally to me suffer from evapourtranspiration and then reinvent themselves into something completely different.

Did anyone ever watch Hinge and Bracket ?
I keep thinking of them when Allan and Tec get upto their antics.
I would've thought cream doughnuts would curdle the wine.

Yes why do Nuns walk in pairs, they don't wear their full garb like they used to so not so easy to recognise? My mother when she was at College used to try and walk inbetween them and there was no way they would split up.

Berona is the Master of Suspense (or should that be Mistress?)

Hopefully when her battery is fully charged she may let us know

Allan, I don't think much can be done about the hypos, they just don't seem very interested until OH actually lands in hospital.

Good Morning Perse,
You do have the ability to invent some wonderful words, wish I could do that. I am disturbed(as you all know) that my spelling has seriously deteriorated lately, and I was so good at it once. Know of a cure?

Allan, You can collapse the tunnel now, and I've found my camel, he did really have the 'ump,

I was not stranded I was typing away and 10 messages leapt in before me. I was also interrupted by himself spilling something on the carpet.

So I shall just do short messages

Thank God you all sigh!!!

Morning all.

I am here Berona:-))

I am home today because my youngest son is very sick, high temps, sore throat...etc...

Tec..sorry to hear that your duchess has had another hypo, that is such a worry:-((

My hubby is not too well either, he has been to the docs with very painful knees..he has to have a scan on Wed, He is on Panidene Forte, and another med for the swelling, but it is making him quite ill and very grumpy, which I understand!!!
I just hope it is nothing too serious!!

I wanted to use the word remorgify instead of reinvent but I don't think it exists.

Prequel did not exist until Robert Ludlum did a sequel and then they republished his other book and called it a prequel.

Think if I was let loose, ruination would set in.

Just came back for a moment to say to Tec - sorry you had another scare. hope everything is OK now. I know you won't be going far away. Hope things continue to improve.

Me a Mistress? Never thought of that for a career either. My goodness - in one session, I've been considered to be a Nun and a Mistress! Nothing like going to extremes!

Good Morning Carole,
So you've got your nurses outfit on today as well.
I hope your son is better soon, poor little chap,
Your OHs knee problem sounds nasty, I wonder what's caused that?
Could it be connected with his job?

Anyway, I hope get better very soon,

Tec

Hi Carolee

Hope it is nothing more than a touch of bursitis and not arthritis.
Actually probably don't know what I am talking about but they were two medical words I know.

Look after them both.

Berona,
Better a mistress, or a nun, than a madam,

Thanks for you message, we're ok now,

Good morning, Carole

We may have to rename this Thread to Emergency Ward Ten..now that is showing my age :0))

Perse, until I wrote a report for Council the word Septage did not exist.

My logic was that if sewage was found in sewers then it follows that septage must be found in septic tanks

It wasn't until a young journo phoned me to say that she couldn't find the word in any dictionary that any one realised!

Now it is in common use

Allan

Allan, Another word for my list - Septage,
Perse comes up with some real gems, I'm going to collect them,
Maybe submit them to the Oxford Concise Dictionary

Hi Norma and Tec

I think Ive mentioned before my hubby plays Softball and Baseball, he's a catcher, so I think it has something to do with that??? But we wont really know for sure until they can do more tests.
Whats really devastating is he cannot play sport, which is his outlet for stress!! His job is very stressful and because we have our own business, he cannot take time of, It breaks my heart, that he is in so much pain, I feel so helpless!!!

Despite the stiffness from yesterday, I'm off to do a bit more work in the garden before it becomes too hot

To Tec and Carole.....look after your respective charges

Tecwyn Report 8 Nov 2009 23:23

That is really rotten for him Carole, nothing you can do beside be sympathetic, and not take the grumbles personally. I suppose they can't treat it 'till they know what the trouble is, hope they're quick.

Sending sympathy from Wales,

Tec

Bye Allan,
Don't overdo it in the garden, otherwise you'll be next in this medical ward.
Enjoy it anyway,

Tec
