Good evening Tec, I saw the severe weather warnings on the news, it does look bad.
I may not be around much over the weekend either as I am waiting for my sister to arrive, she is going to stay for a couple of days so we can pack up more of mum's house. I hope that she will be Ok, because the road conditions look dreadful down south and it is working up the country.

It is a good job that Sue will soon be back to take over guard duty.

The weather is certainly cockeyed around the globe, our Christchurch is having its yearly AMP agricultural show and the stalls were getting blown over and sales were down etc etc. The only ones doing well seemed to be those serving hot food in the large marquis.

I'm quite sure that when Mother returns, she will see through this lot.
She will know that the minute her back was turned they collectively turned on us. Taking full advantage of the fact that we were outnumbered.
She will understand that her boys had no alternative but to seek refuge in another place, where even there they were hunted like animals.

Come home soon Mother - law and order needs to be restored, and justice administered where it's due.

Saturday morning here so morning to you and Linda and I saw Barbra on Annina's great grandchild thread.
Now off to have a late shower, breakfast and read the paper - the weekend papers are so much better than the rest of the week. Not all doom and gloom.

My sister is currently in Leeds, she has popped in to see her daughter, but how on earth it took her so long to get there, I don't know. She should be setting off soon and it should take her about an hour and a half to get here, but as she is a hopeless driver, with no sense of direction,goodness knows how long it will take her.
She lives in the deepest country side,so there are hardly any cars, I always insist on driving when she is up here with us, because she scares the living daylights out of me in heavy traffic.

I'm sure your sister will arrive shortly. There were probably big hold ups on the M1 & M6.
Your sister sounds very like mine where driving is concerned. My sister lives in Doncaster - she set off to visit us here in North Wales. About the time she was due to arrive here, she phoned - from Newcastle on Tyne,
asked should she have gone over the bridge?
Arrived here eventually - it took her 11 hours from Doncaster to here.
Surely your sister is better than that - mine is really dizzi at times.
