You didn't miss me, did you? I've been to the post office and collected my book and I'm back again....Couldn't say anything to either of the lovely and pleasant girls on the counter - boss not working this morning - (figures).
I have another book on the way somewhere. I am wording a letter, and if it happens again - it gets posted!

Tec - don't like your weather - you can keep it. I don't like low temperatures and don't like wind. I would be happy up where Alison is - however, it floods in Queensland - so maybe I'll stay where I am. None of us can have everything!

The noise of the wind is alarming, screaming past the windows, there is a deep valley between the mountains and we are at the end of what is really a wind tunnel. Head under the bedclothes toninght I think.

I think Berona has convened a meeting of the sisterhood in order that they can concoct some cock and bull story to put to Mother. But I think it may backfire on them.
When we put our case to Mother, she will understand why we had to take refuge in another place.

I f the weather is as bad as this all night I will have to try to get to the beach in the morning. There won't be any barrels of whisky washed up, or pieces of eight, but maybe some interesting driftwood.

neither Tec nor myself have to do any polishing: we are both as pure as the driven snow.

We shall simply tell Mother that your reports' do not indicate the true events of the last few days and that we have been the innocent victims of a vicious smear campaign.

We sought sanctuary in another place. Fair enough given the abuse and cruelty being metered out by the sisterhood, just because they thought they could run amok while Mother was missing.
But thinking about it, every time I looked around in the other place, there they were.....if you ask me, the sisterhood spent more time over there than we did.

I had lots of problems earlier Allan, kept losing internet connection, but seems to have sorted itself out.

It looks like everyone has run away - we've thrown them into panic mode,

Just been watching weather reports, looks like there's sea flooding on South coast, and South Wales, problem is high winds, and high tides together - nasty. Morning tide will be a problem I think.
