Hello Dizzi. I don't think we can help you. We are all descended from the gentry!
The big problem is that so many Brits were bundled out to Australia in those days - The UK was overcrowded with crooks.

I had some help with mine from someone who helps on Trying to Find. Maybe someone there could help you. Put up your post after UK midnight - that way it might stay on the front page for the Aussie helpers to see it.
