I'm refusing to mention the Chr***m**s word until December.

Pat you should be warmer next week then, hope you have a great time.

Barbra, I would rather be an Elf

Good evening/morning all. Now, I know what Allan does! He takes advantage of the time difference and waits until I go to bed before he comes on here and talks about me!

Tec - I have to agree with you on that one. I'm the eldest of two.

It is overcast here but our temp is expected to reach 31-39 today, so in case they are right, I am getting as much done as possible as early as possible! That includes soaking the plants! So if I disappear occasionally, you'll know where I've gone.

Black pudding is good, well the real butcher made stuff, not the disgusting supermarket variety.

Same with sausages, I wouldn't touch the disgusting supermarket ones made with reclaimed meat sludge. On the other hand, our local butchers makes lots of different ones. They contain real meat and are delicious. I must admit to cheating when I can't be bothered to make real meatballs for the pasta. If you cut the sausages up into small bits, they make an excellent substitute

Thanks Tec.
I quite agree with you. Don't mention the C word until December!
Unfortunately I haven't got a Santa outfit for you!

hello Berona, you came while I was typing, wow that is far too hot to go out in. Tenerife sounds lovely Pat, it should just be a pleasant temperature I have just looked it up, sunny and 22 degrees every day

Good morning/evening all

I am the youngest of two: insanity doesn't run in me...it gallops.

Could also explain my daughter's daft streak (very much like mine) as she is also the youngest.

I hope that everyone is well and has had agreat week end

Hi Allan,
Hi Berona,
Yes Linda Tenerife isn't too hot at the moment. Just nice like a summers day.
I remember in 2006 when it was really hot and I said to my friends I would never complain about winter again.

Allan

Allan Report 15 Nov 2009 21:24

Hello Barbra,

Like Linda I love the genuine article but not the mass produced rubbish avalable in Oz which is passed off as such

Good Morning Berona,
That's three for the sanity club then....anymore?

Wow - I would just be dead in that heat - we've had the heating on all day, suppose I could stand in the cold shower all day.

I like proper black pudding, and as Linda says, proper butchers sausages, my butcher makes a superb pork and apple variety, and lamb and herb - delicious.

Do they have black pudding in Oz?

Good evening Pat

Good morning Berona, I don't envy your weather. A respectable 25oC forecast for here

I have just looked at our forecast. It will be not bad for the next two days, about 10 degrees, but from Wednesday onwards we will have shed loads of rain again, just great.

Allan,
Is it really early in the morning where you are?

Berona

Berona Report 15 Nov 2009 21:32

Yes, I'm fine thanks Barbra. Hope you are too. Not too many wine gums now, remember!

Well, we still have cloud cover, but how long that will last is anybody's guess. Once I start to feel the heat, on goes the aircon...It's my only vice and i allow for it in the budget - so I enjoy it. Once that goes on, I won't know what the weather is like outside.

PatriciaAnn Report 15 Nov 2009 21:33

Linda,
The first time I went to Tenerife I watched the weather back in UK and it was 2c. I text my sister about it. It's hard coming back to the UK

I have the heating on here Berona, although i didn't have it on during the day, I just wore a thick fleece jumper.
I had better add and jeans and socks before someone who shall be nameless makes a joke

Allan

Allan Report 15 Nov 2009 21:35

Tec, There is a product sold as Black Pudding but not in the traditional horseshoe shape.

It is encased in a wrapper and sold in Supermarkets.

It is the same with many smallgoods.

My OH and I like Polish Sausage, the suasage over here is passable but nothing like the product we used to buy at Grimsby Markets from a Polish Butcher

Good Morning Allan,
Bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning?

No sign of Mother yet......I can't make out if she's back or not.

Allan, Have you ever considered how fortunate we are to be graced on this thread by all these beautiful young ladies, gliding elegantly through the pages, not only dazzling us with their astonishing good looks, but also imparting wisdom and charm, generosity, and good humour - what lucky lads we are to be in such wonderful company...........

Hi Girls.............
