Naturally our schooling was both expensive and exclusive Berona and of course we were sorority sisters.

Actually Allan I did wear mini skirts, that is why I had to learn the art of getting in and out of sports cars serenely

I have fond memories of wearing mini skirts and even fonder memories of having the figure and very long legs (I am tall) to go with them. Sadly those days are long gone, although I do still have two legs.

Goodnight Barbra, sleep well, keep warm,

Goodnight Pat, Have a really great holiday, and take care. Hope Allan and I haven't been thrown out by the time you get back........

Hi Alison, Must be warm where you are today.

I was in Borstal as well Allen, but got expelled.

My mate had a sports car in the days of the mini-skirt.

Many enjoyable mornings were passed, crawling through the Streets of Middleton, when we should have been working!

I shall have to go soon. Have an appointment for my Lymphoedema arm sleeves with the Physio - she's not going to be happy. Since she measured me, I've lost weight with the lack of appetite thing.

Then I have more CT scans on Wednesday and on Thursday I see the Radiation Oncologist to see if I can be "radiated".

Another fun week!!!!!!!!!!

Alison

Alison Report 15 Nov 2009 22:39

Laughing at Barbra - yes, I think I might - must find my son's old football head guard.

Yes Tec -sigh - another hot day. The car will be parked in the sun while I'm at my appointment and it will be 'orrible to get into. Usually stand there with the doors open and the air con on for a while before actually getting in the car.

How is Mrs Tec? Is she going ok?

Allan

Allan Report 15 Nov 2009 22:43

Alison,

I hope that all goes well for you this week. I will cross everything, including my eyes, for you

Barbra....What a picture that conjures up...........

Alison, Do you have to travel far for your tests and treatment?

I'm also off to hospital tomorrow to have my leg pulled by nurses, a three monthly Dopla Test, to see if the circulation is still reaching my feet. It always is............ Wednesday the Cardiologist wants to entertain me. That's a 90 mile round trip both days...........

Mrs Tec is ok at the moment thanks Alison,

Tec

Alison, you certainly are going to be busy this week, I hope it all goes as well as possible.

I have nothing to tell about the bonfire night, well nothing I care to anyway.

Alison

Alison Report 15 Nov 2009 22:47

Don't cross your eyes, Allan, you'll run into one of those bins.

No, haven't too far to go Tec, only about 40 kms a round trip? Takes about 1/2 hr from my home to the hospitals.

Berona must be saturating her plants.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 15 Nov 2009 22:49

Alison, Linda did have a headache the following day, and unco-ordinated fingers...........
Can't think why?

Good luck with your tests too, Tec.

Oh darn, Linda. But, I understand - we don't want to give "those two" any ammunition do we?!

They're still stoushing on the General board and now there's a bit of a one on Chat as well. Whatever floats your boat I guess. I like it here - it's cozy.

Alison

Alison Report 15 Nov 2009 22:53

Aah yes, memory returns re Linda and the befuddled fingers!

You're gunna cop it Allan, when Berona returns!!

I'm concerned for that Postie. Sure hope he delivers Berona's book to her door.

I have to love you and leave you folks. It's a pupil free day today, so I get to take my lad with me to the Physio.

Have a lovely day/night/evening/morning.

Hi Diane - hope you're ok.

Tally-ho then chaps!
