Barbra, i only buy free range chickens from the local butcher because I know where they have come from. In fact I buy all my meat from them I won't touch the supermarket stuff. It costs more, but to me it is worth it. Easy to say I suppose because I don't need to count the pennies. When I watched those programmes last year about how the cheap supermarket chickens are produced, it was awful

just leave my jugular alone please Tec

Don't you just love them all Allan,

Linda in Herriot Country - Don't be so cynical, accept compliments with good grace, as you were taught in finishing school

Berona Report 15 Nov 2009 21:47

My OH liked his black pudding. I bought it from smallgoods shops - but I didn't even like cooking it!

Ladies - have you noticed how 'sweet' the boys are? What a load of c*** they are turning out. Butter wouldn't melt in their mouths! All because they think Sue won't bother reading back over the posts for the past ten days!
She's a woman, isn't she? Therefore, she isn't stupid!

Pat - yes, it's morning all over here but where Allan is, is three hours different from those of us on the east coast. It's 8:47am here and 5:47am where he is. Looks like he didn't stop to chat up the bins to-day.

Oh yes, finishing school, I remember walking up and down with a pile of books on my head. Learning how to get out of sports cars without showing your knickers to the world. Those were the days.

Berona

Berona Report 15 Nov 2009 21:53

Linda - didn't you go to the same finishing school that I went to in Switzerland? I thought I'd seen you somewhere before!

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 15 Nov 2009 21:55

Of course Berona, now I remember, no wonder we are like sisters. Of course you are the eldest.

Hang on that wouldn't work because then I wouldn't be sane

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 15 Nov 2009 21:57

I've never had a problem getting out of sports cars without showing my knickers...............

Berona, Mother is wise enough to know truth when she sees it, I think all you young ladies are in for a reprimand, knuckles will be wrapped.
Anyway how can you all be so unkind after all those lovely things I said about you - straight from my heart...........

Tec

Just sorority sisters. No blood relation, so we can both be the eldest.

Berona

Berona Report 15 Nov 2009 21:59

Oh, spare me! Now, it's all coming out. Typical of the male species.

Linda,

that must have been in the days before mini-skirts!

Berona Report 15 Nov 2009 22:05

Of course, Linda - I don't wish to imply that you are as old as I am - but the school photos show that we were both there (at different times)..Very expensive and exclusive, wasn't it?

Allan

Allan Report 15 Nov 2009 22:06

I'm sure that Sue will see that you all took advantage of your positions (abuse of power is a phrase the springs to mind) to harass Tec and myself from thread to thread, even involving a totally innocent stranger on the Sock Thread.

Tec and myself are the totally innocent parties in this matter and will stand firm.

Justice will prevail

Good Morning/Evening All

Thank you Allan - I have a reprieve then.

Linda, sorry, I had gone to bed (from page 490)

SueMaid, do you really want to know how my tests went? I have more fighting to do.

My husband kicked me in the bottom last night while we were asleep. He "says" he was dreaming that he and our youngest were playing soccer. I might have to "dream" that I'm Muhammod Ali (sp) tonight.
