LindainHerriotCountry Report 21 Feb 2010 22:28

The "me me" was because that was the 13000th post

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 21 Feb 2010 22:28

You want to be Allan's dishwasher?

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 21 Feb 2010 22:29

It was a toasted bagel which took my filling out Tec, so be careful with the teacake

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 21 Feb 2010 22:30

Why would I want to be Allan's dishwasher Tec?

I just realised that post 130000 was coming up,so I shouted "me me"

I'm here Linda. I checked in with Friends Reunited earlier. Doesn't take long, because nobody bothers much with it. They don't seem to know what to talk about! I think their problem is that they have so many 'groups' and keep starting new ones - people don't know where they were last time they visited the site. Whereas, we have Chat and General - not hard to find!

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 21 Feb 2010 22:34

I thought you were begging to be Allan's dishwasher.

I'm going on a diet from tomorrow, so no more tea-cakes.

No cakes, biscuits, pastry, chocolate etc.

I've developed a "pot" for the first time, and my trousers have become a little snug - so I need to get back into shape.

Linda we did have a dishwasher, but when it expired on us we never bothered replacing it.

As there are now only the two of us, it's much quicker to wash the dishes etc in the sink. After washing our things we do the cats' plates and then finally use the water for rinsing any cans for recycling. So a sinkful of water goes a long way

We've never owned a dishwasher - mostly it's me, but we don't feel deprived, or even depraved.

Tec, we only ever had the one. It was OK when the kids were younger and still at home, but to be honest we found that it was one of those 'essentials' that we can do without

Your trousers have not become snug Tec, they must just have shrunk in the wask

I had a dishwasher but sold it with the house. However, where I am, the space was there for one and looked odd with just a tidy bin there. However, one of my sons owned a dishwasher in a rented house and was buying a house which already had one, so Mum got the other one - and I use it - about 3-4 times a week!

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 21 Feb 2010 22:47

I like my dishwasher as well Berona, wouldn't be without it by choice

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 21 Feb 2010 22:48

My daughter complains bitterly when she comes to stay because we don't have a dishwasher - she apparently couldn't live without hers - don't be ridiculous.

That is kind of you Linda, but I do rather think it's me that has grown, not the trousers shrunk. I've been 34 waist for years, and that's fat enough.

Goodnight Linda. Get to bed before you start feeling cold.

I am going back to sorting. Didn't get much done yesterday. I don't like trying on clothes and need to, to know whether to keep them or not! Still on the long pants - I have so many in three different sizes, they all have to be tested for accurate fit! - then, the hems, buttons, elastics need to be checked too - and I hate mending/sewing! So this chore will keep me out of trouble for quite a while.

Keep warm Tec - Allan - hope you cope with the heat. Ours is expected to be high to-day and feels like it already!

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 21 Feb 2010 23:06

Bye Berona,
All this sorting you're doing - you'll have nothing to do in the winter months, so save some sorting for then.
Careful when mixing those shampoo's,
Enjoy your day,

Tec
