Berona, those people are carrying out a 'Green' Audit. They get paid by the Government (Feds) per property and like so mny other areas are indtant experts after a two week course. In fairness there is an interest free 'Greeen ' Loan available from the Feds to help implement any changes which meet the criteria.

I know what you mean Sue - I had that when my previous bathroom and kitchen were renovated - but at least they only trooped through the other rooms to get to and from the rooms they were working on (and that was enough!). These 'inspectors' go right through every room! A few months ago, our Owners' Corporation decided to have all villas inspected for flaws in workmanship with a view to claiming on the insurance. When the man came in to my place, he headed for my bedroom and I followed him, mentioning a crack where two sheets of gyprock join. He said "I'll find it" and shut the door in my face! My own bedroom!! He didn't want me in there while he inspected the walls, built-in, etc.
When the insullation was being installed, I felt that they could see through the ceiling aircon vents into every room which had a vent! It gave me a creepy feeling.

We all knew that Alison has cancer, as well as her positive, and humorou, attitude towards it and towards life in general.

I think that the response from Alison is, in fact, pure Alison.

Let us pray that Mary Mackillup is listening in!

Sue - by all means, leave it here. From what Libby has said I have wanted to ask if she felt that the end was near, but was afraid that if not, then Alison may return to the boards and I would not want her to see it. However, sad though it is, it seems that there is not a lot of time left - and yet, she still seems to have that fantastic sense of humour - still working!
As I have said before, it has been a privilege to make her acquaintance.

Has anyone else had a problem with this site.?

I was just perusing the Chat Board when I got kicked out.

I got back on using the forward/backward arrow but could not leave the chat area.

I finally had to log on again via the Australian Site

Yes - the site kicked me off and it took about 5 minutes to get back on. It kept telling me that they were doing "site improvements" and "happy error". I almost gave up.

I had four attempts to 'submit' my previous post. I kept getting "Oops".
I wondered if it was a way of telling me it was inappropriate. Please tell me if you think it was and I will delete it.

Your post was fine, Berona. I was just reading it and thinking what an inspiration Alison is. I hope if I ever have to face such an illness that I show the courage she is showing.

Morning - I had trouble getting in here - it is just not right to have such problems when the Aussie thread is top of the pops number one on number one.
Last night I had nearly finished typing and got an oops and lost the lot - I think I can safely say I was pi**ed off with them. Don't they know that I can't spend much time on here - no consideration what-so-ever.

I belong to FTF but very rarely go in there - takes me about 10 mins to work out how I got in there - but will go in there and read Libby's posts.
Ali certainly is a battler and her sense of humour in the face of adversity definitely has my admiration. She has a tremendous amount of courage and I am glad I came on here and got to be acquainted with her.

And yes please Sue keep us informed, however sad it might be - it is not inappropriate at all.
