Just on the day I am so anxious to join you all, my computer decided to take more than half an hour to boot up! Nevertheless, I'm here at last. No need to ask how you all are - and I'm the same.

Thank you Libby, for what you are doing with Alison's posts. I thought of that myself and was wondering how I would find them all in so many pages. I did know how to segregate posts, but as usual with me - I'd forgotten how to do it! I think that when Ali's hubby and sons read that at a later date, it will be good for them to see what her attitude was when she spoke to us - always hopeful and always with them in mind - yet she still found time to laugh with us.

Hello all,

Such very sad news about Alison.

But what an inspiration she was, and always thinking of her family first.

RIP, Lovely Lady

I have sent a pm to Libby

Hello Berona, I hope that you filled the time in profitably by mixing all your bottles together

Hello Allan - a very sad time.

Linda - we know what your talking about but we don't want any visitors getting the wrong idea about our Berona:-)

Good morning/evening all,

I'm sorry not to have acknowledged you all in my previous post, but I just wanted to keep my message simple!

Berona, I'm pleased that your computer decided to behave.

CC I may have sounded melodramatic by saying that my OH was doing an overlocking course: she does a lot of sewing and has an Overlocker (don't ask me, it is probably the female equivalent of Tec's Dongle!)

The course is on how to use it correctly and carry out routine servicing on it.

Oops Sue, of course I meant mixing the shampoo bottles, not alcoholic ones of course

Hello Allan.

PatriciaAnn

PatriciaAnn Report 24 Feb 2010 21:55

i thought you meant perfume bottles!. I never thought of mixing shampoo bottles before.

Good Morning Allan,

Yes this is a sad day, but good that we can talk and understand how we each feel.

But does your OHs overlocker have a seductive blue light?

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Feb 2010 21:57

Tec, are we discovering hidden talents, are you a master overlocker?

PatriciaAnn

PatriciaAnn Report 24 Feb 2010 22:00

I thought Tec was a master Dongler!

Allan

Allan Report 24 Feb 2010 22:01

I am still adjusting to the 'new' reply box.

No Tec, no blue light! I did offer to fit a red light to it but that idea went down faster than a lead balloon!

Hello to Linda, Berona, SusanWA, Pat, Sue and please forgive me if I have missed anyone

Berona,

While you are having a grand sort out - read this........

THINGS.........

So many things
Everywhere things,
My things your things,
On the shelves and in drawers
things
Old things new things
Useful and trivial things
Pretty and ugly things
Treasured and forgotten things,
Not-need-now things
One day come-in-handy things
Will-keep-for-grandchildren things,
Hate-to-throw-away things,
OH! to many things
Time to shed the blooming things

Hello Allan. My Reply box is still the same as ever. How do you rate a new one? I paid my dues!

For those who were not here at the time, I found a thread initiated by Alison titled "Hard to Hear" on 11th June, in which she explained her situation and showed the concern she had for her family. You might like to read it.
