What happens when you press the ADD button?

I've done that too, Allan. I've also found that with this new system that I've hit Preview and lost the whole post too. I do like the drop down boxes for Community and Messages etc.

Tec on my set up, previously I would press 'add' and it took me to the top of the posts, where I then had to press 'Reply' to get the empty message block.

Now if I press 'add' I am taken straight to the empty message box but it is at the bottom of the posts.

Also the font is larger!

So now i can use either of the two buttons,

Carole - when I told my OH he said " that's going to be hard for all of you - you're such a tight knit group and will feel the loss". I didn't think he would altogether understand the dynamics of this group of people although he is a caring person. The only internet socialising he does is with family.

I have just received this message from Diane. She has asked that I put this on our thread.

Just want to add to the rest of your messages in saying how sad it is to hear about our Alison. She was a lovely lovely bush girl and it was a priviledge to have known her, I send my best wishes to her sons and her husband and my condolences to all of her family. She was a beautiful person and I enjoyed her humour and admired her strength, may she r.i.p.

Aha, Allan! When I press Add at the bottom of a post, the Reply box appears immediately under that particular post. Is this what you mean?
Simple reason for me not knowing this before - I never click on the word Add! I always use the mouse to go sraight up to the Reply box at the top. I have a wheel on the mouse and don't use that either.

That's typical for me. I should know from the work I did that there is usually at least two ways to do everyting on a computer - one of the first things I learned about them!

I've tried having the last post first on page one, but it doesn't seem to 'hold' there. It goes OK for a while, then reverses back to what it was before. Is there a way of making it stay that way?

Well all,

I had better go as I have to go to Collie this morning to do a job I promised someone that I would do.

it was foisted on me a couple of weeks ago and instead of saying No, I said yes.

So a hundred kilometre round trip in the heat to an old hall built over onehundred years ago, with no a/c, and trying to remember over twelve pages of words without the help of a book!

Remind me to tell you about our Galah.
