Berona Report 28 Feb 2010 22:10

Sorry I have to leave you early as I am going out. Taking the walking stick in case I need it - but hope not to. I'm saving it to use on Allan and Tec next weekend!

I should not be away for long but you will all be gone by the time I get back. However, wherever I am in another couple of hours, my heart will be in Rockhampton, saying goodbye to our lovely Alison.

Bye Berona, sorry about the late response but I was looking for a bright star in the East.

It was CC's talk about turning into a Virgin in the lounge and then getting up close and personal with Bon Bon Jovi's trousers: :0))

Linda, Im flattered: I've never been described as a bit of a character before. I've always been considered an upright pillar of the community.....in much the same way that the Leaning Tower of Pisa can be considered vertical!

Linda - I'll look in the wilds of Tasmania as we fly over and see if there's a convict hiding in the bushes:-)) He may be yours so I'll tell him you're looking for him.

Hi CC.

Berona have a good day.

I must be off too. I'll be thinking of our dear Alison and her family at the time of her funeral - well I guess I've been thinking of Ali since I got up this morning. She'll always be an inspiration to me - her humour and courage always shone through. Love to you all.

I am going to bed to read now, but I shall stay awake so that I can think of Ali at midnight our time.

Have a good trip Sue, I am sure Berona, CC and I can keep Allan in check. We just about managed it last time and you were away for much longer then

Allan

Allan Report 28 Feb 2010 22:35

Bye Sue and good night Linda

I noticed that nobody mentioned keeping Tec in check!

Am I to feel flattered or miffed??

Allan

Tecwyn Report 28 Feb 2010 22:42

Goodnight Linda,
enjoy your read, keep warm.

Allan, I would be flattered, they obviously think I'm too old and past it to get into any trouble..............wanna bet!

Just to change the subject entirely (not that I am ashamed of my slouch hat)

Will you be wearing a daffodil tomorrow, Tec, with it being St David's Day ? A momentous week as on 2nd March it is Diane's birthday

Tecwyn Report 28 Feb 2010 23:07

Alan,

I shall be wearing a daffodil and a leek, and go about all day singing

"Mae Hen Wlad fy Nhadau" - Land of my Fathers

even though actually it is the Land of my Mothers

WE will send Diane a cake with 39 candles on it to light up Merseyside

Tec

Allan

Allan Report 28 Feb 2010 23:13

Tec, will the cake need icing or will you just leave it outside overnight and let nature do the rest?

Tecwyn Report 28 Feb 2010 23:15

4th March is an expensive day for you then CC,
we have a day like that on June 6th, five birthdays

It might snow on it Allan, but the forecast for next week is fairly good, possibility of snow on Friday.

Today was quite Springlike, if a little cool. Tonight is fine, with a full moon, it's quite light out there.

Allan Report 28 Feb 2010 23:23

Tec, it was very light here earlier this morning.

Brilliant full moon, no cloud cover whatsoever and then just watched the moon set over th Indian Ocean.

Magical!

I realised that Sue, but wondered if Allan did - I was going to pm him in case he got up to mischief before you went.

Tecwyn Report 28 Feb 2010 23:34

Allan,
I should think that was an awesome sight - I can watch the moon set over the Irish Sea if I'm up early enough - not quite the same.
But we do get some fantastic sunsets.
