Linda - your OH's convict might have his very own brick in Campbell Town - Tasmania - the paths are paved with convicts names.

Revelation - been reading the label on the moonboot - they are made in Mexico - now that was something new I learnt... now it is time for my siesta.

I was out shopping today and I stopped for a cuppa and thought how wonderful it would be if we were all together today. I sat and thought of Alison and her last journey before she rests. I thought of her husband and sons and everyone else who loves her dearly and thought about what a special lady she was - how else would Ali have made such an impact on our lives in the short time we knew her. She will always be a model of courage to me.

Stay beautiful, lovely Alison. May you rest in peace, our dear friend.

Sue, I think that in some way we were all together today, Alison having touched all of our lives.

Last Thursday, returning from Collie, there is a very steep descent to the Swan Coastal Plain. You have magnificent views for many Kilometres, North, South, and West over the ocean.

My immediate thought was that Alison could now see such views, being no longer being constrained by a physical body. It was only a momentary thought, but somehow seemed so peaceful.

I have no doubt that she is watching, and caring, for her family from afar

Good morning,

I too was awake and thinking about our Alison and her family while the funeral took place, they all still face such hard times to come.

No more talk of birthday cakes, we want to keep our festivities for Diane a surprise, after all. we wouldn't want her to read about it in advance. This post is of course invisible

SueMaid Report 1 Mar 2010 11:35

I can tell you without any doubt that I refused over and over to go to the steps of the Opera House in the buff - not even for the sake of art:-)

Are we planning a surprise party for Diane? What fun. Of course I won't mention a thing. I wouldn't want to spoil it.

If you say so Sue, I notice that Berona hasn't denied anything yet, all we saw was bare bottoms, so difficult to identify anyone.
Berona does live nearest to the Opera House.................Hmm!

I think a nice surprise for Diane would be if we all turned up at her front door bearing gifts. We'll need nibbles- canapes, sandwiches, birthday cake etc, etc, champagne, lots of wine.
I think she might appreciate a Strip-o-Gram in the shape of a Fireman, Policeman, all in the nicest possible taste of course.
Who's coming to Diane's?

I am of course,
I will make some of the food but if anyone else is keen to do it, I don't mind being idle for once. Some of the millionaires in your village can supply the champagne.

Now who can we get for the strip-o-gram?? I wonder if Allan might volunteer?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 1 Mar 2010 17:53

How about I turn up with a live (just about) millionaire - gift wrapped - for Diane?

I think Allan for the Strip o Gram is an excellent idea. Should he turn up as the Maid with Hairy Legs, that would be a hoot.

Happy St David's day Tec.

I think having you as official photographer is an excellent idea CC, especially if the photo's can be used at a later time

NO PHOTOGRAPHS........Been caught like that before!

Thank you for your message CC - we both enjoyed St. Davids Day thankyou, and yes I did wear a leek in my lapel, and a daffodil behind my ear.
Tonight I will stand on the mountain and recite Welsh poetry to an attentive congregation of sheep. I have Druids in my ancestry - they will be so proud.

Hello everyone:-)) A cold and miserable autumn morning here. Tec hope you had a good St David's Day.

The preparations for Diane's birthday are coming along very nicely. She will be very surprised. A barely standing millionaire sounds good - that will have to be Tec's present. I don't know any.

Allan your post about Alison was lovely.
