I actually consider myself very luck Allan - I had one skin cancer removed from my face - it was benign - it was like a little sore and it would disappear and return and then in the end would not heal. The plastic surgeon did an excellent job and the scar blends in with the smile lines (wrinkles) bit of rosehyp oil on it regularly and now you can't notice it. Apart from that just have freckles on my arms and have had no melanomas - the ozone hole wasn't discovered till 1995 and I finished marching in the sixties.

Well must be off as my multi -tasking facility is not working very well. I am doing the washing (but it looks like it will rain) and I am making custard - and instead of bringing my coffee into the office I started to head in here with the goldensyrup custard. Maybe thought I should share!!!!

As they say in the States

Missing you already.

I had thought of that, Allan:-)) I don't actually fancy being in Kansas at the moment - too cold.

Persey - I also tried to tan in my younger years but I'm fair-skinned at and freckled and burnt easily. I gave up many years ago.

Hi all I'm back, Cranford has finished and I enjoyed it. My son has just informed me that Larkrise to Candleford will be back on in about 2 week's, that is another one I enjoy.
My noisey neighbour has a load of his pal's in his at the moment, please god they don't do a repeat of last night.

I myself am unable to sunbath as I have a allergic reaction to the sun until my skin get's used to it, when it doe's I go a lovely tan colour, but the first few day's of sun causes me to itch and I have a rash for about 3-4 day's.
It doesn't happen very often as we don't get that much sun lol.

Diane, from what I remember of the weather in the UK it is not so much a suntan as rust! :0))

Hello everyone, just a quick dash in while I can.
I too have to be careful in the sun as I have fair skin and naturally blonde hair. People always assume that my hair is dyed, but it isn't. I am really surprised that at my age, I haven't gone white, but it is still just my normal blonde colour. I quite fancy the idea of being a white haired old lady, I don't think that I will go grey.

Today we ventured up Wensleydale as my son's girlfriend wanted to see the Dales. We only went up as far as Aysgarth and found a lovely pub for Sunday lunch. We then went to the waterfalls to look at them. That is a misnomer really because they are just cascades on the river. The water was really pouring over them. The walk was treacherous underfoot, with all the snow,so we didn't stay out long. In any case, it was absolutely freezing.

Hello, Diane. Hope you're feeling a bit happier. Would you like us to come over and do something about your neighbour. We could arrange a mishap:-))

Where's our Berona?

Hello, Linda. You're lucky to keep your natural colour. My hair has been going grey for about 20 years. I should imagine my hair is totally grey now but I wouldn't know:-)) If my hair goes the same as my mum's hair I'll be happy to go au naturel - one day.

PMSL Sue, that sound's like a good idea, I wish I had access to his electricity supply That would cause him some problem's lol, at least later if they wanted to watch TV in bed and have it on loud they wouldn't be able too. It's a joke before his mate's started to arrive him and his partner were doing the unmentionable's above my head in the living room. I might move in with my employer and his mum if it continue's.

Diane

Edited= sorry I forgot to ask would anyone like a slice of my Christmas cake.

Thank you Diane - It looks delicious, The Duchess can have a small piece, but usually pays for it later - not much fun being diabetic.

Diane - I realise that you shouldn't have to, and why should you, but is it possible to get a transfer to another flat, and tell the council why
