Oh Pat, I forgot that you had hurt your back, I hope that you are better as well.

I did my bit towards the cruise Berona. I won £10 on the lottery last week

I'm going to bed now.
It wasn't me that 56 million in the Euro Lottery. I forgot to buy a ticket so I saved myself £1.50.

Good night, Pat and bye Tec - have a good time with your family - oh and we love you too:-))

Just to let you all know. I've sent messages to both Diane and Alison awhile back and neither message has been opened. I'm concerned that Alison may be in hospital but as we have no other way of contacting her there is no way of knowing. I do have Diane's email address so I'll send her an email and hopefully we will be reassured that all is well.

Berona Report 13 Feb 2010 22:34

Thanks Sue. Alison did say she would teach her son how to answer PM's, but I fear that she may have been too ill to do that. I keep thinking of her and wondering how she is. It's not good, this not knowing, is it?

Again, I feel that it may only be that Diane has not had access to the computer, but without knowing, we can't help wondering if all is well.
Diane - if you can read this - please let us know. We worry about you.

Lazy, Sue and on the hunt for a small diamond which has come adrift fro OH's Eternity Ring.

She noticed it missing this morning but it probably fell out yesterday. Just to complicate the search yesterday OH was doing some gardeneing at an elderly neighbour's house plus shopping plus washing!

Oh no, Allan - what a shame. Your OH must be feeling dreadful. I do hope you can find it but to be honest I don't like your chances:-(

Thanks Sue and neither do I

We will probably take it into one of the jewelers in Bunbury and see if we can get a new one fitted!

Berona Report 13 Feb 2010 23:25

Allan - I hope you find it - but don't like your chances.

After 2? years of marriage, my engagement ring was a little tight, so I decided to have it remodelled. It cost quite a lot, even though the same large centre and two small diamonds were used.

I only wore it for a few months, when I noticed that one small stone was missing (at work). After rushing to the washroom and back, I found it in the dark coloured carpet under my desk. Wrapped it carefully in a tissue and took it home, placing it on the crystal tray on my dressing table.

Saturday morning came and OH was helping with the housework, so he "did" the bedroom. Sunday night, he put the wheelie bin out for collection. It wasn't until Monday night that I noticed the tissue missing!

I still have the ring, but haven't worn it since - nor have I had it fixed yet!

Allan Report 13 Feb 2010 23:32

Berona, these things happen!

We'll probably find it quite by chance, although I suspect that it may have popped out when OH was gardening!

Berona Report 13 Feb 2010 23:41

Well, I'm off. Now that I'm feeling better than I did before, I have decided on a 'project' of going right through my cupboards/drawers and making a decision on everything that's in them! If I haven't used anything in the last 12 months, the answer to 'why' will decide its fate! Talk later. Enjoy your day - or sleep well and warm.

'Bye Berona,

You did very well with that posting at 2 minutes past midnight British time
Allan.

Sorry to read about your wife losing the diamond out of her eternity ring.

My mother lost her wedding ring down the plug hole - she had lost weight with an illness (I was about 7) and my father had told her to take it off as she might lose it. But my mother could not deem to look unwed. My dad was very cheesed off with her - it was his mother's wedding ring and was the only thing he had of his mothers.

Me I don't wear any rings - my wedding, engagement and my mothers (3rd) wedding ring were all cut off when I had an accident with a garage door last year. I have yet to have them fixed. The garage door surived the ordeal it was just me that went to A & E.

There you are Persey - I was thinking of sending a search party out for you. Hope you are well. We are getting a tremendous amount of rain this weekend. It's quite incredible.
